Your body composition gets more and more difficult to change as you start to age. This occurs partially as the result of a lower HGH production, as well as the long term effects of carrying excess fat, which can change your body’s chemistry and metabolism which make it more difficult to lose weight. GHRP can help you lose weight by improving fat metabolism. When your body produces HGH, it starts burning adipose tissue for energy, and the treatment can improve a slow metabolism. Several studies have found a correlation between increased HGH production and the burning of visceral fat, and patients who are exercising while taking GHRP see a much faster gain in muscle mass than they would without the therapy. The changes in body composition occur more gradually without exercise, and with regular exercise, they can be dramatic and occur within a matter of weeks.

One of the most beneficial GHRP results is that it can greatly improve your exercise performance by helping you recover more quickly and by putting on muscle faster than before. GHRP can restore your HGH levels so that exercise is easier and you have more energy to get through more strenuous workouts. It can take longer for the treatment to improve exercise performance, but the effect does occur, and it can usually be seen within three to six months after starting the treatment.

A decline in HGH is often associated with mood disorders and a low libido because lower hormone levels can be associated with decreased energy levels. Restoring normal human growth hormone levels can provide a boost in energy and improve mood, and this can be helpful for treating mood disorders like anxiety and depression. A decreased libido is also associated with a decline in testosterone and estrogen production but restoring normal HGH levels has been shown to improve libido for both men and women. Patients also often experience an overall general feeling of well-being as the result of the treatment, even for patients who do not have any mood disorders or a low libido.

There are some studies that suggest that a human growth hormone deficiency is associated with a higher risk of heart disorders, and GHRP may help protect against heart diseases and cardiovascular problems by restoring normal HGH levels. For example, supplementation with HGH has proven to be effective at improving symptoms for patients who are suffering from congestive heart failure. Many patients who develop heart disease and other heart disorders also suffer from a decline in HGH production which can be corrected with GHRP therapy. Another major health benefit of the treatment is that bone density can increase back to youthful levels, and this is very important for preventing debilitating injuries as a person ages along with bone and joint disorders.

Helps to improve depth of sleep, which improves cognition and decreases fatigue. It helps you extend REM sleep, which is the time when short term memory is converted to longterm memory. The longer you sleep with quality sleep the sharper your mind will be the next day.

What is Sermorelin?

Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide that is 29 amino acids long.  It causes the anterior part of the pituitary gland to naturally secrete growth hormone for longer periods each night.  What we refer to as extending the pulse of hormone release.  Sermorelin is very specific and has been shown to have the least effect on other hormones that can be released from the pituitary gland.

Sermorelin and HGH

Growth hormone is released at night while we sleep.  It is responsible for the growth and reproduction of our cells.  As we age, our natural release of growth hormone diminishes.  By our 40’s, our daily pulse of growth hormone release is 30-50% less than what it was at its peak when we were in our 20’s.  Sermorelin works to extend the time that growth hormone is released, thus increasing the total amount of growth hormone that is released each night.

Sermorelin Therapy

After your initial consultation with our physicians, we will discuss your therapy and establish a baseline of your current health goals.  We will then check blood work to establish if it is safe to pursue peptide therapy with your medical history and plan for proper dosing.

GHRP is approved for medical use as a prescription drug to increase growth hormone levels in children who have growth hormone deficiency. The use of GHRP in adults with clinical or laboratory established low levels of the human growth hormone is an unlabeled medical use of the drug. This is considered off label usage and can be done so at the discretion of the administering physician.  However, off label use of medications is generally not accepted by insurance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Peptide Therapy?

Growth Hormone Releasing peptide (GHRP) therapies have many benefits to restoring your growth hormone levels. The decline in human growth hormone levels is associated with several aging symptoms such as a lower energy level, lower libido, decreased muscle mass, increased body fat, a slower metabolism, aging skin signs, and more. These symptoms can be treated with GHRP therapy, and some of the health benefits are seen more quickly than others. For instance, it may take a while before skin elasticity and tone improves, but energy levels and libido can often improve much sooner. The changes in body composition can be substantial even if you don’t exercise, but if you do exercise you will get the most out of the treatment and may see very fast results. While results may vary from patient to patient, clinical studies have shown that GHRP treatment can lead to a range of physical and mental benefits.

GHRP Is Best Taken For Several Months Consecutively

You may see some of the quicker results mentioned above within a few weeks of time, but to see real results with the therapy you need to continue it for at least three to six months. There is no reason why you can’t take GHRP for up to twelve months or even longer because it is a safe treatment and there is no indication that there are any long term negative health effects from it. To see some of the results like improved skin quality, a more youthful body composition, higher bone density, improved sleep quality and more, you may need to use the therapy for a long period of time, but after you have used it for several months in a row, the higher level of HGH production often maintains itself for several months and you may be able to stop the therapy for a period of time.

Who can do Peptide Therapy?

Our therapy focuses on adult clients who feel they have lost something with age and are trying to restore youth.  It is not intended to treat or cure any specific medical problems.  After your initial consultation and lab work, we will discuss if peptide therapy is right for you.

Is Peptide Therapy right for me?

If you are suffering from fatigue, weight gain, thinning hair or any of the other chronic symptoms listed above that Peptide therapy have been shown to improve, you should contact NeuDrip to schedule a consultation.  You may be suffering from the effects of aging and low GH levels.  You may also be suffering from other illnesses, our Board Certified Surgeon can help you figure this out and make the recommendations that are best for you.

Will I have to do my own injections?

Yes.  The best way to do peptides is through subcutaneous or intramuscular injections.  We focus on daily subcutaneous injections because it gives the most control and accuracy.  While some peptides can be taken orally, absorption through the GI tract and metabolism by the liver can greatly affect the dose needed and the results.

How long will it take to see results?

Peptides naturally increase the amount and or duration of your natural release of growth hormone.  While some of the benefits to sleep and recovery will be seen in the first few weeks, other effects like bone density, collagen levels, and cardiovascular improvements may take 3-6 months.

Are Peptides Growth Hormones?

No peptide therapy is not directly Human Growth Hormone.  They are growth hormone secretagogues (GSHs), which is a class of molecules that stimulates the secretion of GH from the pituitary gland. They have a very short half life meaning they are excreted from the body very quickly and this is why they have to be dosed daily.

What happens if I miss a dose?

It is ok to miss a dose of medication, you do not need to “make up” the dose at your next injection and we do not recommend changing the dosing on your own.

Why do you inject only 5 days a week?

GHRP causes you to release more of your natural growth hormone at one time, your body needs to replenish those supplies.  By taking a holiday 2 days a week, you help to restore your supply of Growth Hormone.

Is Peptide Therapy safe?

While the long term effects of peptides are not yet known, there are several clinical studies showing their safety and benefit.

How do I get my blood work done?

Our Medical Director can direct you on how to get your labs drawn. These have to be done in order to start Peptide Therapy. We have an account at both LabCorp and Sonora Quest Laboratories. Fees for blood work can range between $100-$500+ depending on what you may need done. This fee is extra and paid by you directly to the lab, and not included in NeuDrip’s Peptide fee’s. Billing codes will be provided for labs should you choose to run through your insurance.

How often does blood work need to be done?

Blood work needs to be done before starting Peptide Therapy. After that, blood work needs to be done every 6 months. Alternatively, our Medical Director may ask you to get them done more regularly or less depending on your specific numbers.

How long should I try Peptide Therapy?

We suggest giving Peptide Therapy a minimum of 3 months, however the longer you do it the more changes you will see.

How do I get started?

Get started by calling us at 480.675.7926, let us know you are interested and we will set up a free consult with our Medical Director.

Can I do my injection anytime during the day?

For best results GHRP should be dosed to coincide with your natural growth hormone release from the pituitary gland.  That occurs at night while we are sleeping.  Therefore your injection should be 30-60 minutes prior to going to bed.
